Incoming Forces

A small island, located just off the coast of the South American continent, is the target of a nuclear attack. Mysterious perpetrators set off an atomic bomb that equals everything to the ground. It soon turns out that behind the detonation stands Carlos Ortega, a local drug baron with the necessary components to build more nuclear charges. Ibn Kilbaba, son of a well-known terrorist who died in a US operation in the Middle East, is interested in buying the latter.

Kilbaba wants revenge and will do everything possible to punish those guilty of her father's death. With a powerful argument in hand, he is preparing to detonate the cargo in the capital of the United States. Only one person is able to save Washington and then turn the maniac's hideout, hidden deep in the jungle, into a perch. As you probably already guess, it is you, the player will share this task....

Jungle Strike: The Sequel to Desert Strike is an arcade game in which you will play the role of a pilot of a modern helicopter designed to exterminate ground targets. Armed with a machine gun, Hydra missiles and Hellfire rockets, you'll fight Kilbaby soldiers and complete several complex combat missions. The Electronic Arts product is very similar to its famous predecessor, Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf. Almost all the elements characteristic of the original were preserved in his successor. We observe the action from the perspective of isometric projection, we eliminate further targets, release hostages, as well as we take care of controlling fuel level and collect scattered ammunition here and there. The only changes are the premiere scenes, the possibility of flying at night and new vehicles (e.g. hovercraft), which appear in selected stages. It is worth noting that the authors have also tried to get a suitably longer gameplay.
