Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love on the Wave is in fact the sixth installment of Larry Laffer's adventures, considered by most fans as the last part of the adventure series created by Al Lowe. Just like the previous games from the series, it is characterized by an excellent script with a lot of subtext and an uncomfortable, often black-tinted humor.

The creators of Leisure Suit Larry 7 made sure that Love on the Wave referred to the previous installment of the series, i.e. With impetus into the depths. During a love game with Shamara, the title character is chained to bed with handcuffs. When the beauty escapes in the hotel room a fire breaks out and Larry has to get out of the burning building. Shortly afterwards he finds a ticket for a cruise on the luxury ship "Babylon". Aman - a loser from his place falls into the hands of a beautiful captain Kasia. To spend a week in her cabin, however, she has to win the "Captain's Cup", winning in six competitions. However, for Larry, who does not sin with his beauty and tact, there are no women impossible to conquer.

The Leisure Suit Larry 7 gameplay doesn't differ much from the previous parts of the cycle. The key to success is the ability to find and use (also in an unusual way) different objects and conduct conversations. Most of the puzzles in the game are not particularly complicated, but some of them turn out to be very demanding.

The creators of Love on the Wave also introduced some fresh ideas for a series of ideas. One of the most interesting is the game of finding "cucumbers" hidden in various locations. In Love on the Wave you can also find 7 easter eggs, which are surprises prepared for persistent players by designers. An additional eighth "Easter egg" is an alternative ending that only reveals itself after discovering all easter eggs, collecting a collection of 32 "cucumbers" and earning 1000 points.

An unquestionable advantage of the scenario of the game are numerous erotic overtones and references to figures and phenomena from mass culture. For example, in the original language version the heroines of Love on Wave are Drew Baringmore (Drew Barrymore), Dewmi Moore (Demi Moore), Victorian Principles (Victoria Principal), Jamie Lee Coitus (Jamie Lee Curtis), Nailmi and Wydoncha Jugg (Naomi and Wynonna Judd) and Annette Boning (Annette Bening). More attentive players will also notice James Bond and other icons of pop culture in the background. Humor at Leisure Suit Larry 7 is not particularly sophisticated, although it can make you laugh.

Definitely the weakest side of production is the graphic design, which already on the day of the game premiere stood out from the standards on the market. 2D view is still acceptable, but low resolution and poor quality animations are not able to cover up the imperfections.

The Polish publisher took care of excellent pollen. The cast that dubbed Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love on the Wave included Jerzy Stuhr (Larry Laffer), Katarzyna Figura (female characters) and Jacek Czyz (narrator).
