Lucinda Green's Equestrian Challenge is an equestrian sports simulator developed by IR Gurus studio. The game allows players not only to participate in competitions and practice sessions, but also to take care of their horse. The game is available on PC Windows and PlayStation 2.
The game uses Lucinda Green's name – she is a world-class rider and a six-time Badminton Horse Trials winner. Players can meet her virtual version immediately when they start the game because the developers made her a mentor that teaches players about the basics of the gameplay. She also informs them about the rules of equestrian sports and how to take care and train their horses. After completing the practical test from the knowledge given to us by Green we can participate in competitions where in order to win we need to not only have a good time and style of our passage but also a presentation of a rider and their horse.
Lucinda Green's Equestrian Challenge was developed for people of all ages and with different skill levels – thanks to that, both beginners and more advanced players could enjoy the game. Players can participate in official tournaments that take place in Badminton, Burghley, Adelaide and Kentucky. We can also find real riders such as Philip Dutton, Karin Donkers and Mary King.
The game also allows us to create our own characters and equip them with various accessories and outfits. The same thing can be done with our horse. It should also be mentioned that with progress we get more items, which means more options for customizing.
Lucinda Green's Equestrian Challenge is presented in full 3D. The graphics are simple and don't have a lot of details. Thanks to various camera angles we can observe the competitions in a similar way to how the real ones are presented in TV.
