Released in an episodic form of a parody of jRPG games, created under the responsibility of Mark Leung (author of the Internet series "College Saga") and the Uglysoft development studio team. The action takes place in the fantastic world of Untitled, and the player directs the actions of the hero, who must destroy the insidious plan of the Church of Vegetologists.
Mark Leung: Revenge of the Bitch is the first game of Marek Leung, director of the controversial online series College Saga. The title was produced in cooperation with the Uglysoft studio, founded by a group of students from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Design, and is a parody of jRPG games.
Mark Leung: Revenge of the Bitch takes place in the fantastic world of Untitled, which in a very loose way refers to the realities of the Middle Ages. Interestingly, the map of the game coincides with the modern geographical map of the world with the difference that countries are located in completely different places - for example, Hong-Kong occupies the area of Australia, and Canada is located in the Middle East. The axis of the plot is the struggle of two competing religions - the Church of Noobism and the much younger, but more aggressive Church of Vegetology. Mark and Dick, a couple of ordinary citizens of the Kingdom of Hong Kong, accidentally discover sinister plans of vegetologists....
The gameplay is based on mechanisms well known to jRPG game fans. The course of the game's plot depends on the completion of the main missions. At the same time the player has a lot of freedom to explore the game world and perform side tasks. Like the classic cRPG, the heroes represent different professions (warrior, healer, sorcerer, combat skater and dream summoner) and have a separate set of skills. The combat mechanics is based on a traditional turn-based system, and winning a duel allows you to gain experience and money (the internal currency of the game is dollars).
Mark Leung: Revenge of the Bitch has a simple but aesthetically pleasing three-dimensional graphic design. Developers have used, among other things, cel-shading technology, thanks to which both character models and scenery have a comic look. Due to the unsophisticated humour, full of vulgar dialogues, as well as content with sexual overtones, the production is intended exclusively for adult players.
