ReLU Games is an independent development studio from South Korea. Mimesis is the first production in the studio's portfolio that could provide them with global recognition. It is a cooperative survival horror game enriched with elements characteristic of social deduction games.

Gameplay

In Mimesis we view the action from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Exploration and gathering supplies

Our primary goal in the game is to fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic world. During the day we explore our surroundings on foot and search locations (which are subject to changes) for supplies. Fuel for our tram is the key resource, as it serves as our mobile base and shelter.

Night, rain and titular enemies

Rain falls at night and it turns people into the titular mimesis creatures. We are talking about beings capable of copying human behavior and voices. They are driven by specially constructed AI, designed to make them difficult to distinguish from real players. The only salvation from them is to keep moving forward, as our enemies will come for us as soon as the tram stops.
