Mir-Mahna is Iran's first game in the Espris studio. Developers from Tehran, inspired by productions such as Call of Juarez, decided to use motifs related to the history of the island of Kharg.

The plot of the game is based on the plot of Nader Ebrahimi's novel cycle On the Red Marine Roads. The action was set in the middle of the 18th century, during the struggle of the Netherlands and Great Britain for domination over the Persian Gulf. The player has the opportunity to take part in the struggle to liberate the island of Kharg from the occupation of the European colonial forces.

The game is based on dynamic battles presented from the first person's perspective (FPP). The player can use several types of historical firearms, including rifles and pistols. Depending on the difficulty level chosen, the target and firepower change, as well as the amount of damage the hero can suffer during the skirmish.

Mir-Mahna uses a proprietary engine that renders 3D graphics in real time. The quality of the visuals deviates from the standards of modern FPS games. The creators, however, were tempted to use motion-capture technology to achieve a more natural fluidity of character movement animation. The sound layer is inspired by traditional Persian music.
