MotoGP 17 Description
The PC, PS4 and XONE release of MotoGP 17 is another installment of the motorcycle racing simulator series with the official MotoGP™ licence. The series was established in 2000 and has expanded significantly since. In this game developers give the players all the 2017 bikes, tracks and riders. The game content also features 70 unique motorcycles representing different classes: from 2 stroke 125cc engines to 4 stroke 500cc engines. The races take place on the MotoGP 2017 licensed tracks. The game offers an extensive single player career mode as well as a multiplayer mode.
Mechanics
MotoGP 17 offers realistic and demanding riding physics, so it is crucial to adjust both speed and riding technique to master the machine one decides to ride on. The stronger the machine, the more difficult it is to tame. One can choose a race from each of 3 race classes: apart from MotoGP, there's also Moto3 and Moto2. Moreover, this installment of MotoGP series offers a chance to participate in Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
The races take place on tracks that are a part of the MotoGP 2017, thus one can find here a classic Silverstone track located in the UK, as well as the Red Bull Ring in Austria. One can race all over the globe – the game includes 18 locations. Apart from the tracks the game also includes each and every team participating in the 2017 installment of MotoGP, thus players can become a part of teams like Ducatti, Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki.
Game Modes
MotoGP 17 offers a career mode, where players can perfect their riding skills, sign new contracts and compete on stronger and faster machines, eventually becoming the world champion. Apart from that, the game includes a multiplayer mode, where one can compete against other players.
Technical Aspects
The PC, PS4 and XONE MotoGP 17 release has been built on Milestone’s proprietary game engine. Apart from realistic models of both motorcycles and tracks, the game features, for the first time, stable 60 frames per second, making the animations faster and the racing experience more realistic, thus forcing the players to stay focused.
