MotoGP 22 is a motorcycle racing game with a license of the Motorcycle World Championship. It was developed by Milestone, a studio specialized in this genre, which not only takes care of the series, but also has other projects in its portfolio, such as RIDE or MXGP.
The content of the game MotoGP 22 reflects the 2022 season of the Motorcycle World Championship. Game allows us to take part in the race for victory on more than twenty real circuits, within the Moto3, Moto2 or finally MotoGP classes. In addition to all the riders taking part in the races of the 2022 season, the game features more than 70 characters who have made their mark in the history of the championship.
Game focuses on realism, which is reflected both in the driving model, as well as in the need to pay attention to a number of parameters of our bike during the race. We're not only talking about the temperature of the brakes, the amount of fuel or the level of tire wear, but also about the height of the suspension, which can be modified to raise or lower the center of gravity. However, the game is newbie-friendly - there are a number of assists that make driving easier, as well as an extensive tutorial. Experts, however, can polish their skills in the so-called MotoGP Academy.
Game allows us to customize the look of our bike, as well as the suit and the helmet of the rider.
MotoGP 22 offers an campaign in which we create our own team or join one of the official teams and then not only compete for victories, but also manage our team and hire increasingly skilled workers or improve our machine. In addition, there is a special gameplay variant that allows us to relive the key events of the historic 2009 season as legendary riders. More than 50 minutes of documentary material was prepared for this mode, narrated by famous Mark Neale. The multiplayer mode allows us to play on split screen (except for Nintendo Switch console) or over the Internet (with cross-play within the same "family" of platforms).
MotoGP 22 features a high quality graphics design. Not only motorcycles or tracks, but also riders (especially their faces) were designed with attention to detail. In addition, a lot of attention was paid to animations.
