MotoGP 23 is a motorcycle-focused racing game with simulation elements, officially licensed by MotoGP. It was developed by Milestone, a team of specialists also responsible for series such as RIDE and MXGP.

Mechanics

MotoGP 23 is a faithful recreation of the 2023 motorcycle racing Grand Prix. The player competes within three different classes, Moto3, Moto2 and the titular MotoGP. Just like the series' previous installments, the game is highly realistic; we must pay attention to our motorcycle's parameters, such as brake temperature, tire wear, fuel, as well as track conditions during a race. If it suddenly starts raining, we can take advantage of MotoGP's Flag to Flag rule and head down to a service point to switch to a different motorcycle, one better adapted to driving on wet surfaces (though this option is unavailable in the Nintendo Switch version).
