Release Date: May 10, 2022
We Were Here Forever is the fourth part of the puzzle adventure game for two people. This time the action takes us to the disturbing dimension of Castle Rock, and our task is to get out of it in cooperation with another person.
We Were Here Forever is another part of Total Mayhem Games studio adventures of nameless heroes trying to get out of closed complexes. This time these are chilling locations from the Castle Rock dimension. Not knowing whether it's us who made a mistake or were cheated, together with a partner we look for a way out.
We Were Here Forever doesn't differ from the previous parts of the series. Once again, we observe the action from a first-person perspective and explore locations prepared by the developers, encountering a number of riddles and puzzles, which we are able to solve only in cooperation with another player. Communication plays a key role here, because although we can't see our companion or what's in his close vicinity, we communicate with him by voice through a walkie-talkie. Giving information and tips appropriately and understanding them is the biggest difficulty here.
The game is designed to play in co-op mode in the company of another player over the Internet.
We Were Here Forever is a 3D game in a visual convention typical for the series. A microphone is required to play the game.

Game Ratings for We Were Here Forever Video Game.
Marooners' Rock: 9 / 10 by Matt Kowalski
We Were Here Forever was a great experience even if the ending was devastating. The game’s puzzles are thought-provoking and each side of the puzzle has its own feel; you will need to play the game twice to experience each side. The game’s visual bugs, although annoying, were easy to fix and get around. The game’s music was enjoyable and alluring often setting the mood for the level. Control-wise, playing with a keyboard and mouse is an easier time, but for those who like using a controller, you will still need a mouse. The game’s replay value is there especially if you plan to play with random people and is still worth buying if you have a specific person in mind.
Video Chums: 8.1 / 10 by A.J. Maciejewski
We Were Here Forever is a phenomenal experience that you and an online friend will thoroughly enjoy, especially if you're into escape rooms. Its puzzles are elaborate, challenging, and, most of all, superbly rewarding even when they're a bit frustrating.
DarkZero: 8 / 10 by Dominic Sheard
This review is for We Were Here Forever, though, and with that in mind it should be noted that there are not many games like this, ones that rely on communication and asymmetrical puzzle solving.
