A three-dimensional action game in which we play the role of a member of the elite unit Earth Defence Corps. Our activities include stealing information from large corporations, rescuing hostages, obtaining secret information and data on new technologies, in order to finally save humanity from the greatest threat hanging over it so far.
Imagine not being forced to spend your life behind the walls of closed indoor environments. Imagine getting in and out at will, rushing close to the surface faster than the speed of sound, or flying as high as the skies and beyond. Imagine floating the depths of the oceans of several planets, then cruising the endless space of the Universe. Imagine intruding secret facilities of interplanetary criminals while protecting human race from inexplicable terror.
Life as nTrapper can never be boring. Using the newest capturing devices in existence creatively can be both fun and financially rewarding. Flying various fast-moving vehicles armed with the most flexible defensive and offensive systems known to mankind and trapping dangerous criminals and industrial spies can quickly make you a hero and a very rich person at the same time.

In times of high-end espionage technology information became more valuable than a man's life. But when the opponents in the undeclared technological war started storing information in living biological carriers, life became priceless again. Killing people would mean destroying information. Capturing them alive became highest priority, and the means to do so brought a whole new industry to life. Standard trapping devices would be soon neutralized by countermeasures - the emerging network trapping technology was the perfect solution to the problem. Every nTrapper could build and configure unique and unpredictable systems of arbitrary complexity using standard modules to succeed where standard techniques would fail. The Earth Government of course established its own elite nTrapping force - the Earth Defense Corps - to protect the planet from inside and outside threats.

The action game nTrap will put you behind the controls of various high-tech vehicles including submarines, air fighters, hovercrafts and space ships. By combining a multitude of modular devices, you can quickly build countless customized weapons and trapping networks to help yourself survive the battle against planetary threats. Capture information stolen from large corporations, return fugitives unharmed, recover technology and data by neutralizing the opponent's devices with your own, and, probably one day save mankind from the biggest danger it has ever faced!
nTrap is being powered by AGD-Software's own Magrathea Simulation Engine and relies heavily on its physically-based capabilities. All objects, vehicles and weapons move according to the laws of physics, light energy falls off with the square of distance and jumps off walls infinitely, skylight changes according to the sun position, sea waves are caused by the wind blowing over the ocean surface, 3000 meters below the sea there is no sunlight whatsoever, a distant explosion can be as dangerous as the impact of a direct collision, a direct collision actually creates a deep hole in the ground, and everything that happens around you is perfectly intuitive as in the real world.
