A multiplayer action game from the creators of Awesomenauts and Trifox. In Nubs!: Arena we watch the action from the top down view, fighting on the arenas as the titular warriors. We must focus not only on eliminating our enemies, but also on avoiding traps and obtaining upgrades.

Nubs!: Arena is an action game, designed for multiplayer gameplay. This project is the result of a collaboration between independent studios Rangatang from the Netherlands (this team consists of developers who have the game Awesomenauts in their portfolio) and Glowfish Interactive from Belgium (creators of the Trifox project).

Gameplay

In Nubs!: Arena we watch the action from a bird's eye view. The main characters of the game are the titular Nubs, small warriors trying to survive and provide entertainment to the great Konzumos. During the game, we enter arenas where we fight with other players, as well as avoid numerous obstacles and traps such as spikes or lava.

Dynamic battles

The clashes are dynamic, and during them the key to success is having great reflexes, avoiding enemy fire and launching accurate attacks. Temporary power-ups collected along the way also play an important role - they can increase our firepower or provide us with access to a new arsenal. However, when we fall on the battlefield, we turn into a shooting star. If we manage to survive in this form long enough, we get a second chance and can return to the fight.

Character development and cosmetic additions

From round to round, we gain access to new passive skills, increasing our chances of victory. Over time the range of outfits and other cosmetic additions grows, thanks to which our Nub can stand out from the competitors.
