The game is a story and technological expansion of the first game of the Lugaru studio, which was released in 2005 on PC and Mac.

Plot

Overgrowth takes place in Medieval, dystopian world consumed by anarchy and lawlessness. This universe is inhabited by unusual, anthropomorphic warriors like rabbits, wolves, dogs, cats and rats. The game takes place a few years after the events depicted in Lugaru. Turner, the main protagonist, killed the evil, corrupted king and was made the new ruler. However, he refuses to sit on the throne. Instead, he starts a new journey in order to fix the world.
