During the game Lara is forced to go into hiding. She tries to clear her name through conversations with other characters and associating facts. This fact changes gameplay dramatically and pushes it more towards a classic adventure game.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 introduces new gameplay modes and improved match mechanics, including new passing mechanics – from now on, the player has to choose the direction and the strength of the pass. The authors reworked tactical options, adding instructions for different phases of the match and the current score, as well as introduced a stadium editor and a gift shop.
