An action MMORPG game with a TPP camera, offered in a free-to-play model. Perfect New World offers a large open world, different character classes & customization options, a dynamic combat system with quick moves, and the option to play in either PvE or PvP.
Perfect New World is an action MMORPG game developed by the Ironcore Game Studio team and available in a free-to-play model. Although the title suggests otherwise, as does the fact that the project was financed and released by the Chinese company Perfect World Games, this game does not belong to the genre-related series Perfect World.
In Perfect New World we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). During the game we play as so-called Soul Tamers who travel the world and face various dangers, trying to find the legendary, resurrected First.
We start the game by creating our character. The game allows us to decide on its race - we have a choice between elves, humans, and so-called mythics. We also pick gender, appearance and character class. This last choice projects onto a range of combat skills that we will have at our disposal, as well as the weapons our character will prefer. Combat can be different when playing as a chaotic Berserker, as a more precise Dragonspear, and as a Mysticsword.
We have nothing left to do but to throw ourselves into the whirl of adventures. We can freely explore the game's open world, travelling on foot (which makes it more attractive to be able to pull ourselves to objects using a kind of magic rope) or on the back of a mount (running or flying). We get to know the world's inhabitants and carry out quests for them, as well as confront hordes of enemies.
Battles with enemies are dynamic, and during them we have to be in constant motion, skillfully juggling abilities, using the strengths of our weapons, as well as performing quick dodges and launching swift counterattacks. As we progress, we develop the character, unlocking new skills and improving the ones we already have. Moreover, over time we acquire better equipment, which also increases our combat potential.
Perfect New World only allows for multiplayer gameplay over the Internet. We can choose between cooperating with other players and competing with them in PvP mode.
