Mechanics
As in the previous games from the series, the player taks in Picross S is to paint the fields of a diagram in such a way that the result is a pixeled drawing. The numbers on the sides of the board and above it tell us which elements to mark - they tell us how many fields in a given row or column should be filled in order to solve a particular puzzle. The game consists of three hundred puzzles of this type, whose level of complexity can be adjusted to individual preferences.
Game modes
Picross S can be played solo or in the company of a second player, in a co-op multiplayer mode.
Technical aspects
Picross S features simple two-dimensional visuals. The game is accompanied by calm, relaxing music.
