Picross S9

Picross S9 is the ninth major installment in a series of puzzle games developed by Jupiter Corporation. Just like the previous installments, the game is based on puzzles known as nonograms.

Mechanics

The gameplay of Picross S9 doesn't deviate from the previous installments. The player must solve puzzles consisting of boards surrounded by numbers. They indicate how many tiles in the given row or column should be colored; following the instructions results in creating a pixel art image.

The game offers 485 such puzzles total; 300 in the Picross and Mega Picross modes, 150 in Clip Picross (where we're tasked with creating stories out of pictures), 30 in Color Picross and 5 bonus puzzles. There are also three additional puzzles unlocked by importing save data from three previous installments - Picross S4, Picross S5 and Picross S6.
