Pool Panic is a humorous action adventure game in which players take on the role of a billiard ball and travel through a funny world, where almost all elements are connected with this form of play. Rekim studio is responsible for creating this production, and its release was made by Adult Swim Games.
In the world of Pool Panic everything – from forests and deserts, through cities to swamps – is a pool game. Your goal is to pocket eight balls, but can you handle it when you are forced to compete with monstrous balls or balls that avoid hitting you?
Pool Panic is a two-dimensional, adventure action game, in which we observe the action from the side. We direct the movement of the cue stick visible in the corner of the screen, deciding on the angle and strength of the impact. The player's task is to knock in the balls on the boards as quickly as possible – we have more than 100 different levels at our disposal, set in various situations and circumstances of nature: among others in the wild west, farms, caves, bars or music festivals. It is worth noting that the tickets in question are often conscious and can react to impacts in different ways – some of them will start to defend themselves and others will run away. Dealing with them requires learning and using different tactics.
The Rekim studio game also allows you to customize the appearance of the main character, the white ball, by changing the hat. Here you will find dozens of different headgear.
In Pool Panic we can be played alone or in the company of three other players in cooperation mode.
Pool Panic has a quite simple, two-dimensional graphic design, which evokes associations with comics or animated film. The artistic style is very characteristic – it is characterized by humour and expressive, contrasting colours.

With an off-the-wall sense of humour and style, Pool Panic is a very different pocket to sink your balls into. There are plenty of high points here that help to counteract the occasional camera issues and make for an entertaining experience all round. The multiplayer will probably drag plenty of your friends into this strange world too and there's no reason not to enjoy that. Pool Panic excels at being exactly what it is, a weird puzzle adventure game with a lot of personality and plenty to do.

A wildly imaginative and vaguely psychedelic physics puzzler with a novel pool-based twist, Pool Panic is frequently thrilling and almost never boring, but it's also mechanically suspect and occasionally frustrating. In short, it has cult classic written all over it.
