DC Universe Online is an action MMO, set in the worlds and locations of DC Comics comics. In the game we create our own hero and determine whether he belongs to a good or bad faction. Along with the performance of particular tasks, our character develops and acquires new skills. The game is distinguished by the high interaction of objects. Since October 2011 the game has been free of charge due to the transition to free-to-play model.

The player accompanies an American TV crew trying to shoot a documentary about the legend of the lost village of Hanuda, and his main task is to survive in a shibito (zombie)-controlled area. The game was produced by the development team of SCE Japan Studio under the direction of Keiichro Toyama.

The story mode features an alternative world, in which a power-hungry version of Superman has taken over the world. He is opposed by a group of heroes from the “default” reality. Mechanics-wise, Injustice: Gods Among Us is mostly inspired by Mortal Kombat. Every playable character (e.g.
