PlayStation 3 is the 7th generation console from Sony. It was released on November 17th, 2006 in North America and March 23rd, 2007 in Europe. PS3 came about a year later than its biggest rival – Xbox 360 from Microsoft – so it didn’t manage to conquer the market as PlayStation 2 had done a couple of years earlier. Also, complicated architecture of the console – based on the Cell CPU which became a pain in the neck for game developers – made it harder to achieve great sales results. PlayStation 3 was succeeded by PlayStation 4 in 2013.

The third part of the series based on the famous anime Gundam, produced by Koei studio to a company from Namco Bandai Games. In the game, with the help of a powerful battle suit, we fight against a hordes of enemies. In battles we use a number of special skills and blows. Great references to anime, lots of tasks and characters, as well as a developed multiplayer mode are the main advantages of the title.

A TTP science-fiction action game, based on the iconic Gundam franchise, very popular in Japan; the brand was started in 1979 with the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. Gundam Battle Operation Next was created by Bandai Namco (known for such productions as Ace Combat, Dragon Ball Z, Tekken, Soulcalibur, and Naruto) and utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions. Mechanics-wise, Gundam Battle Operation Next is a tactical TPP action game.
