The remake does not bring any differences to the original game's plot.

Based on the popular manga series by Masashi Kishimoto, the game follows the adventure of the titular ninja that gets thrown into the midst of incredible events once a great war breaks out. The plot encompasses most of the episodes belonging to the original TV series.
