Rube Works: The Official Rube Goldberg Invention Game

Rube Works: The Official Rube Goldberg Invention Game is a puzzle game that takes full advantage of the ideas of the draughtsman and inventor Rube Goldberg, who has become famous for his numerous drawings depicting complex devices that perform very simple tasks, such as watering a pot plant, filling a glass with orange juice or slicing a chicken. Electric Eggplant studio, headed by David Fox, a former designer of classic Lucas Arts titles such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade or Zak McCracken and the Alien Mindbenders, is responsible for creating this production.

There are 18 puzzles in the game, which seem simple to solve, but of course we have to do them in the Goldberg style of work, such as filling a glass with a drink with such things as magnifying glass, string, clown in the box (so-called jack-in-the-box) and a screw-on toy with plates. The key to pass the selected stage is therefore to build the most complex system, which will help us finally perform the action.
