Rugby Challenge 3 is another game about rugby. It was created by Wicked Witch Software studio and released by Tru Blu Entertainment. The game has official licenses meaning that the players will find the most important world rugby teams, such as Wallabies, All Blacks, England or the Springbox team representing South Africa. The developers have also diversified the production by 11 different tournaments, including the Super Rugby professional league, the ITM Cup (the most prestigious tournament in New Zealand) and the annual South African interregional tournament Currie Cap.

Rugby Challenge 3 allows you to take part in several different game modes - the extensive single-player and online modes. The authors also included the so-called FanHub, a kind of editor that allows you to create a new player. We can share our players and teams with other players on all supported hardware platforms. The game also has a new game mode - the Scottish Rugby Sevens, in which each team consists of seven rather than fifteen players.

Another novelty to the previous editions of the Rugby Challenge series is the Be a Pro mode, where we play the role of an inexperienced player. Our goal is to control his actions for the next 13 seasons turning the player into a captain representing his team in international competitions.

Technical aspects

The graphics in Rugby Challenge 3 has been designed to reflect the atmosphere of real-life matches as closely as possible. That's why the game features realistic players and high-quality textures of the environment. The matches have professional commentary done by commentators such as Grant Nisbett or former rugby player Justin Marshall.
