Samantha Swift and the Mystery from Atlantis PC

Samantha Swift and the Mystery from Atlantis is another production of Mumbo Jumbo studio addressed to so-called casual gamers. The game is the third installment of the adventure cycle with Samantha Swift in the title role and is based on proven solutions known from Samantha Swift and the Hidden Roses of Athena and Samantha Swift and the Golden Touch.

The plot of the game revolves around the theme of searching for traces of civilization of the legendary Atlantis. Working for the Museum of Secrets Lost, a young archaeologist Samancie Swift manages to find the famous Totem of Lights in Alaska's snows. Unfortunately, he falls prey to the evil Markus Payne and Colonel Tempest, who, thanks to the priceless artifact and the rest of the Atlantes' treasure, intend to take control of human minds.

The game offers two standard modes of play - timed mode and relaxed mode (no time limit for solving particular puzzles). An additional mode - hidden objects mode, in which you can face any puzzles of the "hidden objects" type, is available after finding 60 birds hidden in the pictures.

The game in Samantha Swift and the Mystery from Atlantis is based on a scheme known from earlier versions of the cycle. The basis are tasks of the "hidden objects" type, in which the player has to find camouflaged objects from the list on the pictures. The difficulty is the fact that sometimes the objects searched for are described in rather general terms (e.g. a penguin is a "citizen of Antarctica"). The game was diversified by simple mini-games and logical puzzles connected mainly with the appropriate use of items of equipment.

The audio-visual setting does not deviate from the standards set by previous games with Samantha Swift in the lead role. Two-dimensional graphics are distinguished by vivid colors and a clear, comic line. The party is accompanied by a romantic background music referring to the themes of particular locations.
