A two-dimensional logic game that gives the player indirect control of a girl by the name of Zee. She is trapped in a strange, dualistic world with both a regular and a dark side to it. The latter is inhabited by a shadow that imitates the girl's movements. Both the characters have to reach portals serving the role of destination points - this must happen in order for the player to complete a given level.
Samsara for PC and XONE is a logic game created by Marker Limited, which is a small company that produces various applications – among them, one will find programs for booking flight tickets, as well as more or less advanced video games for example. Samsara is the largest game developed by the company so far.
The player's task is to help a girl by the name of Zee to escape the titular Samsara, which is a strange world she has been trapped in. In order to achieve this, the player has to beat nearly 80 levels requiring them to place different objects on small maps – doing so, the player creates a path, by which the girl can reach a magic portal. However, the game world is divided into two different parts. The lower part of the screen reflects Samsara's dark side, where a mysterious shadow imitates Zee's movements – the shadow has to reach its own portal as well. The difficulty level gets quickly increased on subsequent maps, so it will not suffice to place particular platforms simply to fill holes with them or to build stairs. Alongside progression, new mechanics appear in the game, and for instance, one has to use smaller portals to reach the other part of the screen; one also needs to take into account, that if they place a platform in the lower world, the object will have its reflection in the upper dimension as well. The maps are very diverse and are based on various concepts. Sometimes one has to take advantage of gravity or add a block at a right time. Thanks to that, the experience remains alluring and surprising throughout the entire game.
Samsara for PC and XONE does not use the system's potential to the fullest, as it is a two-dimensional, cartoonish game. This does not mean however, that the game looks bad; the creators did a good job of creating eye-pleasing visuals, additionally diversified by the presence of the dualistic game world.

Game Ratings for Samsara (2018) Video Game.
Pixelophobia: 5.3 / 10 by Łukasz Ankudo
Samsara is quite a good game that was incredibly badly executed. Fun gameplay mechanics are paired with lackluster graphics and music. The only saving grace is introduction of second character that make us think about both the heroine and her shadow.
Jump Dash Roll: 7 / 10 by Rob Kershaw
Samsara is the closest thing you’ll get to a yoga workout for the mind. It’s a thoughtful puzzle game which utilises a simple mirror mechanic throughout each of its seventy-plus levels, and the combined effect of a gentle learning curve and a soothing presentation is a brief, but charming experience.
God is a Geek: 7 / 10 by Nicola Ardron
Samsara is a pleasant puzzle game that doesn't quite challenge enough to give you the unique satisfaction of the “ah-ha” moment when you solve something particularly difficult.
