In the history of the video game industry, there have been many instances where a studio specializing in one genre decides to try its hand at a completely unfamiliar territory. Grey Wolf Entertainment, known for developing the strategy games Dawn of Andromeda and Pax Nova, has joined the ranks of developers unafraid to experiment. They decided to deliver a shooter with RPG elements titled Second Sun.

Gameplay

In Second Sun the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Open world, dungeons, and enemies

As we explore the game's open world, our main task is to eliminate hordes of enemies. The battles are dynamic, requiring constant movement to avoid enemy attacks while delivering accurate shots. An additional variety comes from dungeons, which are procedurally generated, meaning each expedition to such a place looks slightly different from the previous one.

Character development

As we progress, we develop our character by improving specific stats(determined by the profession we choose). Additionally, we enhance the character's combat potential with increasingly better equipment found along the way.
