Secret of the Magic Crystals is the work of the Hungarian development team of Artery studio, which specializes in providing graphic elements for high-budget game production (e.g. Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Driver: San Francisco, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit). The title is addressed to horse lovers from the circle of so-called casual gamers.

The action of the game is set in a fantastic world, inhabited by many magical creatures. The player plays the role of the owner of a slightly dilapidated stud farm. His task is to bring it to its glory and breed fairytale steeds, including pegasus and unicorn.

The game is divided into several aspects. The first and most important is care for horses, which need to be fed, cleaned and trained. There are 5 varieties of mountaineers in the game, each corresponding to a mythical mount species. Steeds can be subjected to four training regimes, improving, among others, their strength and jumping ability. In addition, by completing missions, the player gains title magical crystals and items needed to create special mixtures and horseshoes.
