Rising Storm 2: Vietnam
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam

Action 30 May 2017

Developed by Tripware Interactive in cooperation with Antimatter Games, an FPS which is a continuation to Rising Storm. As the title suggests, the action takes place in Vietnam, where you assume the roles of American or Vietnamese soldiers. The mechanics do not differ considerably from those in the previous installment and once again emphasize realism. Due to the different historical period and realities of the conflict presented, the game now features choppers, booby-traps, and machine guns. Soldiers of each fraction differ not only in fighting style, but also in equipment. The creators provided new unit system that allows for bigger control over the player's squad. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam introduces multiplayer for up to 64 players.

Action 30 May 2013

A standalone expansion for Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad, developed by Tripwire Interactive. This time, the players can experience the brutal campaign on the Pacific in the years 1942-1945. In the game you can either fight as a member of the American Army and the Marine Corps or side with the Imperial Japanese Army and their Special Naval Landing Forces. As you play, you take part in military landings on beaches, struggles in underground mazes of caves and shootouts in lavish jungles – all that in historical locations, such as Corregidor Island, Guadalcanal or Iwo Jima. The most notable of innovations introduced in Rising Storm is the ability to promote your soldier to a Hero level, which grants him access to rare weapons and gear, and makes him stand out visually on the battlefield. The Rising Storm expansion is based on a modified version of Unreal Engine 3, which translates into high fidelity of graphics.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is the second part of the FPP war shootout by developers from the Tripwire Interactive studio. In solo fun mode, the player has the opportunity to participate in a number of missions on both the Russian and German sides. The creators also took care of the possibility of playing in cooperation. The biggest advantage of the production, however, was the multiplayer mode for up to 64 participants.
