Yoh Asakura is a young boy who has been given the secret of using magical abilities. He is a shaman - one of the few people who can communicate with phenomena and spirits. Thanks to his abilities, he can combine his own human powers and skills with the supernatural powers of spirits. Once Yoh joined forces with the phenomenon of a samurai called Amidamaru, which was killed 600 years ago. Together they start their expedition to a big tournament held once every 500 years, during which you can win the crown of the king of shamans.
