An arcade skateboard simulator, in which we find ourselves on the west coast of the United States. While playing in Skater XL we take control over the title skater, and the game consists in performing tricks and combining them into spectacular combinations.
Skater XL is a skateboard simulator. The production was developed by the independent team at Easy Day Studios, whose portfolio includes the warmly-received Skater for mobile devices.
In Skater XL we take control of an eponymous skater. Observing them from TPP, we perform various tricks, trying to score as many points as possible. The key to success is above all to combine individual evolutions into complex combos and smooth transitions from one trick to another. The authors provide us with a number of authentic places located on the west coast of the United States, headed by the famous West LA Courthouse in Los Angeles. As we progress, we unlock not only new clothes for our competitor, but also skaters themselves and better and better boards.
Skater XL is powered by the Unity technology, and the three-dimensional graphics of this title presents a decent level of quality. The game does not support keyboard - a gamepad is required to play.

Game Ratings for Skater XL Video Game.
Shacknews: 5 / 10 by Ozzie Mejia
Easy Day makes a valiant effort with Skater XL, but this game isn't a pro skater just yet.
TheSixthAxis: 7 / 10 by Thomas Hughes
Skater XL softens some of the more technical aspects of the sport, but empowers players with the ability to pull off stylish tricks with a swish of the analogue sticks. Even with a lack of content and polish, Skater XL stands on its own four wheels in a soon-to-be-crowded marketplace, providing players with an experience that prioritises fun over simulation.
VG247: 2 / 5 by Matt Martin
What Skater XL does well is make you obsess over an 8-set of stairs, or return again and again to a simple curb. You will keep going back to line up the perfect angle, the exact spot to crouch into an ollie, tre flip and land a crooked grind. That’s great, that’s street skating in its essence, and it’s an achievement to capture that. But outside of that microcosm, as soon as you pan out, it steps on its own shoelaces and stumbles into a bush.
