Skyscraper Simulator is a mix of simulation and strategy, in which we lead a team dealing with building the title skyscrapers. The main point of the programme is an extensive career mode, in which there are several dozen stages to be completed, with a growing level of difficulty.

The game begins with the construction of small, multi-storey buildings. As the progress continues, experience points are gained, as well as new types of equipment. Successfully completed projects in turn contribute to building the reputation of the company, thanks to which the company is successively commissioned to construct higher and more complex buildings. In the next levels of the game these are already large skyscrapers, characterized by unusual architecture and reserved for the richest people of this world.

Each level starts with a careful planning of all activities. It is about hiring the right manpower, acquiring the right construction machines for the task, or gathering the materials needed to construct a skyscraper. After completion of the preparation stage, the proper construction begins. Interestingly, the player can not only follow the actions of the employed workers, but also personally take control over the machines of their choice, among which there are huge cranes, cranes, concrete mixers and excavators. Control is done using the keyboard and mouse.

In all stages there are at least a few tasks to complete, which must be fulfilled within the time limit set by the game. The game is additionally hindered by unforeseen work stoppages, inspections, equipment faults or unfavourable weather conditions (such as very strong gusts of wind). Completed stages can be repeated as many times as you want to achieve better results than previously.

The competition takes place in a three-dimensional environment, and the player can observe the progress of building more skyscrapers from any angle. The game also provides the possibility of suspicion of ready-made projects against the background of the panorama of a given city.
