Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army is a shooter developed by Rebellion Studios. The game was based on the mechanics of Sniper Elite V2, however it is a stand-alone add-on, so it does not require the full game to run.
Nazi Zombie Army offers a new campaign that you can play alone or in co-op mode for up to four people. The game is set near the end of World War II. Aware of the impending defeat, Adolf Hitler desperately turns to dark rituals that transform the majority of the inhabitants of Germany into the living dead. A handful of survivors including American, German, and Soviet soldiers must forget their past quarrels and join forces in order to increase their chances of survival. You can play the campaign on your own, but the whole thing was designed primarily for co-op mode. The team of four includes Karl Faiburne the American known from previous installments, a German officer, a Soviet soldier, and a scientist. Each of the characters can effectively handle a sniper rifle.
The campaign is set mainly in the war-torn Berlin. The authors have taken care of a large variety of enemies. In addition to standard zombies you can stand against e.g. occult generals, dead snipers, who are able to jump across the rooftops, and reanimate kamikaze soldiers. Your main weapon is obviously a sniper rifle, and for close combat you can use two-barrel Remington shotgun. Despite entering the territory of a horror, Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army is a game that focuses primarily on sniping. Thus, the realistic bullets physics, well known from Sniper Elite V2, makes a return, just like the X-ray camera that shows the damage done to the rotting bodies of enemies. The co-op mode heavily relies on working closely with your comrades in arms, choosing the right position, and setting traps.
