Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior PC

Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior is the second VR spin-off of a popular series of sniper action games, after 2021's Sniper Elite VR. It was co-created by Rebellion and Just Add Water.

Plot

Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior is set during World War II, starring the Partisan, a member of the Italian resistance, fighting to drive the Nazis out of Italy. He must carry out many different missions and destroy German wunderwaffe - superweapons meant to tip the scales in Nazi favor.

Mechanics

Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior is a first-person game, not differing too much gameplay-wise from the main installments. The player traverses various areas, completes objectives (mainly destroying or eliminating targets) and faces many enemies. While we can engage them in open combat, they usually outnumber and outgun us, being equipped with armored vehicles. We'll be better off being sneaky and sniping foes from good vantage points. While sniping, we must take many factors into account - gravity, wind; it's worth the effort though, as direct hits are rewarded with a spectacular animation of the bullet going through our target.

Game modes

The main mode of Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior is the story campaign. There's also the Sniper Hunt mode, where we must eliminate enemy patrols and engage in sniper duels against Nazi sharpshooters, As well as the Last Stand mode, where we must gun down subsequent waves of enemies.

Technical aspects

Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior features high-quality visuals. The player can adjust the controls to their own preferences; choosing between sitting and standing positions, as well as the type of movement (smooth or teleporting).
