Super ComboMan: Smash Edition

Super ComboMan: Smash Edition for PS4, PC and XONE is an improved version of an arcade game, which came out in 2014 – it combined elements of platformers and fighting games together. The game stands out with its hand-drawn, 2D graphics with an art style inspired by manga comic books. Super ComboMan: Smash Edition was created by Interabang Entertainment – a small, San Franciso-based company founded by a few colleagues that had met during their studies.

Mechanics

The game is a 2D platformer requiring the player to eliminate countless adversaries while going through subsequent levels. Super ComboMan: Smash Edition draws inspiration from classic platformers and 2D fighting games, which inherently remain associated with arcade game rooms in the minds of many older players.
