An old school mix of platformer and metroidvania elements, created by independent studio of Long Hat House. Dandara takes us on adventure in a fantasy world where basic laws of physics, such as gravity don’t apply. The titular heroine is awoken to restore the order of old.

A classic 2D shoot'em up action game, created by Vertex Pop and released on Nintendo Switch. Graceful Explosion Machine allows the players to fly a futuristic space ship. The titular GEM is an advanced, well-equipped vehicle whose pilot is stuck deep in space. In order to find his way back he must face a horde of aggressive aliens. The game is presented from a side view and we must constantly move right throughout more than 30 levels located in four different worlds.

AlphaLink is a multiplayer action game with shooter and platform game elements, developed by Black Hive studio. Project was born as a single-player metroidvania called Kova, but during the development the concept changed radically.

NBA Playgrounds is an arcade sports game inspired by the NBA Street game series. It was developed by Saber Interactive, a studio mostly known for their futuristic first-person shooters like TimeShift and Inversion. In NBA Playgrounds, players take part in basketball matches. Even though the gameplay is based on classic rules, it has not much to do with reality. The players can jump incredibly high and do various tricks during those jumps.

An action-adventure game offering a surrealistic atmosphere and developed by Bedtime Digital Games. Figment is set in a world which depicts the subconsciousness of a 40-year-old man. When his calm mind got attacked by nightmares symbolizing everyday frights, two friends stood up to them. Dusty is an embodiment of courage; as for Rusty, she manifests optimism and bears a resemblance to birds.

A HOPA adventure co-developed by Brave Giant from Serbia and Artifex Mundi from Poland. Just like its two previous parts, Dawn Harlock is the protagonist. She conducts an investigation into a homicide of a woman and a mysterious disappearance of her daughter. The heroine soon learns that there is a new and evil force involved in the case and the unusual events may have something to do with her own vague origin.

The player assumes the role of Reika Rekkeiji and arrives on a world controlled by robots known as Ajeets. Due to an experiment, the heroine is transformed into a cyborg, which enables her to challenge the mechanic invaders. Giga Wreckers presents the action from the side view, and gameplay mostly consists of exploring huge levels, jumping on platforms, and battling more or less dangerous enemies.

Flinthook is a roguelike platform game developed by the indie studio Tribute Games. We play as a space pirate who is also a treasure hunter. We will have to face an ancient evil that threatens the entire universe. The game is presented from a side-scrolling perspective and takes place on procedurally generated spaceships. Our hero has a wide array of tools available that will help him move around the game's levels and fight with the encountered enemies. Blasma Pistol is our primary weapon.

Victor Vran: Overkill Edition is the expanded edition of the 2015 action RPG, Victor Vran. Overkill Edition includes two expansions, Fractured Worlds and Motorhead: Through the Ages, that were released for the original game. Players once again will play as Victor Vran, the monster hunter. Expansions included in this edition offer completely new areas, enemies, and abilities.

A classic platform game by indie studio Slipgate. The game was funded via a Kickstarter campaign, and the studio's cooperation with THQ Nordic allowed for releasing it also for consoles. You play as the eponymous twelve-years-old boy, who finds himself in an alternative reality and becomes the protagonist of his own game. He's accompanied by an old living console called Dusty.

As usually in games of this genre, the player starts with a small business, limited premises and modest funds on the virtual account. Gradually earned money is invested into expansion of the aquarium, new species and taking care of the animals bought previously. All of that increases player’s popularity and income.

A simulation game in which the player plays the role of a firefighter taking part in various rescue operations. Events are observed from the perspective of the first person, and during the game we have the opportunity to extinguish fires, remove toxic substances or even secure the transport of dangerous goods. All this takes place in an open world.

Bad Dream: Coma is an adventure game by Desert Fox. The gameplay focuses on solving puzzles by using items found in the game’s world. The game set inside a nightmare, and the hero who gets trapped inside is ready to go to great lengths just to get out. In order to wake up, he needs to visit a number of horrifying locations, like a ruined bridge, gloomy swamps, or a disturbing hospital. He also meets different characters who are, just like him, trapped in this dreadful dimension.

An adventure game in the form of an interactive FMV thriller, developed by the Swiss team at CtrlMovie and directed by Tobias Weber; the script on the other hand, was written by Michael Robert Johnson. Though the game debuted on mobile devices, it also came out for PC and consoles a year later. Matt, the protagonist, is a young student of mathematics, who tries to make some money as a car park guard. He gets charged with stealing Chinese porcelain from an auction house in London.

A 2D fighting game set in an alternative reality based on how the ancient Japanese imagined afterlife. We can choose from a roster of eight characters, each of them has different appearance, weapons and special abilities. Additionally, they all have their unique stories which we discover during the game. The feature that distinguishes this game, developed by an indie studio called DojoGames, is the lack of a health bar.

An exploration/adventure horror by the independent studio Sigma Games from Poland. The main hero of Inner Voices is John Blake who is trapped in a dimension resembling purgatory. The protagonist suffers from amnesia and the only way to reveal his mysterious past is to follow a strange voice. The hints it drops lead the hero to eerie places which reflect his own memories distorted by an unknown, evil force. The action is presented from the first-person perspective.

Tower defense production, in which the player's task is to defend the monkey's land against the temptations of the title Bloons. In the course of the game, we set up various units along the paths taken by the opponents - as the game progresses, we obtain the necessary funds to expand the army in our hands and to introduce various improvements.

A funny social game developed by the independent Polish studio Vile Monarch. The title is a spin-off of the well received logic game Oh…Sir!! The Insult Simulator. The title expands on the ideas of its predecessor and the player participates in unusual... insult duels. The player must select invectives he uses against his opponents from a long list and combine them into spectacular combinations. After filling a special bar the player unlocks a critical insult that can eliminate the opponent.

A science-fiction rhythm game developed Mad Fellows. Aaero does not offer an elaborate narrative layer, focusing on allowing the player to control a small ship hovering above ground and fight the enemies that appear on the screen. The ship’s movements can be controlled with the analog sticks. The player is tasked with following the precise track and sticking to a white ribbon, which boosts the score multiplier.

RPG 21 May 2021

A jRPG developed by Nintendo, which offers us the ability to take control of Mii, Nintendo’s player avatars. Our job is to gather up a team of heroes (built from players found on our friend lists) and lead them on a quest to defeat the Dark Lord, who has stolen the unique faces of Miitopia citizens. When it comes to gameplay, we are given an RPG built from standard elements, including exploration, turn-based combat, or an experience system that enables us to develop and enhance our heroes.

A multiplayer arcade game developed for Nintendo Switch. The game rules are simple - the characters run around a board divided into smaller panels. By jumping you rotate the tiles near your avatar, changing their color to match it. If someone else steps onto your tile, they drop out of the game. When rotating the tiles you can earn various power-ups which e.g. increase your speed or the number of the rotated tiles.

Another digital adaptation of the popular board game developed cooperatively by Engine Software and Ubisoft with Nintendo Switch in mind. The gameplay is based on the formula known from the board game original. We move tokens by as many fields as we roll on the dice. While playing, we trade real estates and build houses and hotels that provide us with income since any player has to pay rent if they step into another player’s property.
