The story focuses on the nefarious plans of a terrorist group, which uses a time machine to travel back in time and kidnap every American president. You play as a special secret agent, who is sent to the enemy base to free the presidents.

Thanks to that unique approach, the screen is used mostly for showing the score.

The player assumes the role of Don Ramiro – one of the faithful knights in service of Alfonso VI, uniting to travel the lands of Tolomera and bring back peace and order.

The action of the game takes place in Taiwan during the 1960s, in the middle of martial law that lasted 37 years. We are taken to Greenwood, a high-school placed in a mountainous area. The players assume the role of two students who discover that the school became inhabited by wicked monsters known from local legends.

Rise is the only hope the inhabitants of Gamearth have - he is an 11-year-old boy equipped with a holy artifact - a pistol known as Shine.

Super Bomberman R is another game in the popular Bomberman series and a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, developed by Konami. The game has 3D visuals, but we observe the action from the classic top-down perspective. We play as the titular Bomberman, and our job is to eliminate enemies we encounter on various maps with the bombs at our disposal. Even though the gameplay mechanics are not that complex, a more tactical approach is needed when entering new levels.

A rougelike side-scroller developed by Frozenbyte. The players assume control over a ragtag group of heroes a little over their prime. The team receives a final task – escorting two princesses to a special academy. Unfortunately, the mission won’t be easy, as there will be numerous dangers lurking along the way. We begin the game with choosing three characters from an available pool of twelve different heroes.

An action-adventure game developed by independent studio Any Arts Production for Nintendo Switch. Seasons of Heaven is based on a novel written by Nico Augusto. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world and focuses on a group of survivors who are trying to stay alive in a dangerous environment. The player controls two characters: Yannem, a boy with Asperger’s syndrome, and Ani, his faithful dog companion.

A Japanese role-playing game by Square Enix and Silicon, the creators of i.e. the well-received Bravely Default: Flying Fairy and Bravely Second. Project Octopath Traveler features a unique style, which blends 16-bit sprites with 3D pixel-art surroundings. During the game, you visit various locations and complete many quests given by the NPCs. The game also features turn-based fights, in which to defeat your opponents you have to make proper use of your characters' abilities.

Fire Emblem Warriors is a spin-off of the popular jRPG series Fire Emblem that was released on Nintendo Switch. The game that was created by Omega Force and Nintendo is quite different from what we could see in the series' previous installments. Instead of a turn-based tactical RPG, we get a fantasy hack'n'slash that uses the series' characteristic elements and characters, and throwing in only a couple of RPG elements.

Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together is an original puzzle game developed by SFB Games and published by Nintendo for their Nintendo Switch console. Various riddles that require not only creative thinking, but also good reflexes and strict player cooperation are the core elements of gameplay. In Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together we play as paper characters whose shape we can change so that they complement the shapes of characters created by other players, leading to the puzzle being solved.

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is a remastered version of the second game from the popular fighting game series, initially released in 1991. It was developed by Capcom and UDON Entertainment. The new edition has received a series of improvements and tweaks. There are two completely new playable characters available: Evil Ryu and Violent Ken. Each of the available fighters has their own story and set of moves, attacks, and combos. The game's visuals were also improved.

The game focuses on exploration of a randomly generated comic book-like world, avoiding many traps and obstacles, and on combat with encountered enemies. The protagonist can use various shotguns, machine guns, rocket launchers, and grenade launchers.

A 3D action game developed for Nintendo Switch which focuses on 1 on 1 battles taking place on secluded, spacious arenas. The contenders are equipped with large boxing gloves propped on springs that allow them to extend to large distances. We can choose from a number of fighters, with each having unique traits and abilities. Additionally, we can choose a set of gloves that correspond to our playstyle – e.g. a slow albeit powerful model, or a speed-oriented set.

The development was supported by the persons responsible for the cult-classic previous installments of the series, including Takaomi Kaneko, Yoshihisa Kishimoto, Koji Ogata, and Kazunaka Yamane. Similarly to the previous installments of the Double Dragon series, the gameplay focuses on traversing 2D locations and eliminating hordes of approaching opponents.
