Another installment in the incredibly popular series of arcade action games enriched with elements of role-playing; the franchise emerged in 2004 on the PlayStation 2 console. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is a Nintendo Switch port of an improved and expanded version of Monster Hunter Generations (released as Monster Hunter X in Japan) - a game which came out in 2015 for Nintendo 3DS. The player is taken to a fantasy world where their job is to hunt extraordinary creatures.

Action racing game created by the indie studio WooFoo, in which players participate in crazy racing championships across winding tracks. The tracks are located in various environments, such as city streets or desert canyons. The vehicles you drive are grouped into three categories: dune buggies, trucks, and sport cars. Each car has its strengths and weaknesses, and getting to know them is the key to success.

RPG 24 August 2017

A sequel to the action RPG from the Japanese studio Gust. Nights of Azure 2 lets us revisit the dark fantasy world, in which humanity rules only by daylight, while night belongs to demonic minions of the Night Lord. However, we won’t see any old faces from first game, as the second game focuses on completely new characters. Players take role of Ashule, a warrior who dies while trying to defend her friend Liliana from a powerful demon and is reborn as half-demonic being.

A game created by Dawid Szymanski, an indie developer, in collaboration with New Blood Interactive. The game represents the action genre and was inspired by the classic games that came out in the 90s. The plot in DUSK is only an excuse for flashy and brutal gameplay, and during the game we have to face hordes of enemies with supernatural abilities. The levels are diverse: we can choose from a modern city infrastructure, through churches, to dark undergrounds.

An original open-world game combining elements typical for titles such as Spore or Minecraft. The game was created by Arc System Works, and the TOYBOX Inc. studio led by Yasuhiro Wada - the father of the Harvest Moon series. Birthdays the Beginning casts the player in the role of a creator of worlds, whose goal is to create a planet, along with a breathing ecosystem rich in life.

A game developed by an indie studio, ThroughLine Games, that combines elements of point-and-click and platform games. In Forgotten Anne the players step into a fantasy world of Forgotten Lands, inhabited by creatures that were created out of abandoned everyday objects. When a rebellion rises, our main heroine, who works as an enforcer, needs to stop the riots and bring back the balance and peace. Her master, Bonku, aids the girl in this quest. The action is presented from a side perspective.

A remake of the two-dimensional platform game released in 1986. The new version was developed by Korean studio CFK. The player assumes the role of the titular Wonder Boy – a caveman whose girlfriend was kidnapped by the Dark King. The protagonist attempts to rescue Tina while trying to take care of the villain. The gameplay of Wonder Boy Returns features traveling through various levels, jumping between platforms and fighting enemies like bees, spiders and penguins.

A two-dimensional metroidvania action game developed by independent studio Thunder Lotus Games – the producer of the warmly-received Jotun. In Sundered, the player assumes the role of a wanderer who travels through a ruined, post-apocalyptic world. The story of the game is strongly connected to its mechanics, as the price of the progress of the protagonist is paid with his humanity – what powers the player decides to wield, will have impact on the ending of the game.

Quantum Replica is a cyberpunk stealth game with metroidvania elements developed by a small Colombian studio ON3D. The game is set in a distant future where people live in enormous metropolises and their lives are completely controlled by the government. Our protagonist is an exception of that rule. Not only he doesn’t remember who he actually is and what is he supposed to do, but he is also not registered, making him the most wanted person in the city.

Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair is a remastered version of the dynamic action game Earth Defense Force 2025. In Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair we play as a member of the titular organization that protects our planter from the invading species from space, just like in the previous games from the series. The game takes place in 2025, when Earth is once again attacked by the insectoid alien invaders.

The debut production of the independent studio Fiddlesick, combining elements of platformer and logic game. While playing, we assume the role of the eponymous hero whose task is to find his lost mother. The path to his goal is a bumpy one because his mother, a lady scientist who deals with color research, got lost somewhere in a monochromatic world. In the game, we traverse vast, single-colored maps, avoiding various obstacles and solving puzzles based mostly on color manipulation.

A unique jRPG by Syupro-DX and Nippon Ichi Software. In The Longest Five Minutes you play as a warrior who's trying to regain his lost memories. The game starts in an unusual way — it begins with the final boss fight. The protagonist, however, can remember neither happened on the way to the dark lord's dwelling nor how to defeat the enemy.

Another entry in the BIT.TRIP series – 2D auto runner platformers – developed by Gaijin Entertainment. The plot of Runner3 is a continuation of the adventures of CommenderVideo, the hero from the previous games. The gameplay didn't change much when compared to the previous titles but there are a few new features and improvements which are the result of community feedback.

A first-person perspective action game with platform features, developed by Swedish studio Landfall Games. In Clustertruck the player is tasked with jumping across the roofs of trucks that drive in a convoy. Each level has its beginning and end, and the objective of the game is to complete the whole track without touching the ground. Despite the simple gameplay rules, as the game progresses the objectives become harder and crazier.

An anniversary edition of the cult-classic FPS, prepared in cooperation between Nerve Software and Gearbox software to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release. The action of Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour takes place in 21st century Los Angeles. During the game, we assume the role of the iconic tough-guy, Duke, who has to face the alien invaders.

A science fiction two-dimensional retro shooter by TransHuman Design. In BUTCHER, we assume the role of a cyborg who is programmed to kill humans on sight. The action is presented in a classical side view, and the gameplay is focused on traversing post-apocalyptic locations and eliminating encountered enemies. The protagonist fulfills this goal with several kinds of weapons, including, among several other things, a chainsaw that is a sort of a nod to the creators of Doom.

Another installment in the cartoon life simulator based on Disney animated films. Like its predecessor, Disney Magical World 2 was developed with Nintendo 3DS in mind. This time the game features six varied environments, including the world of Frozen, or the places known from Winnie the Pooh. Disney Magical World utilizes well-known gameplay rules, based on such series as Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon.

An RPG from the dungeon crawler genre, developed by the independent studio Goblinz. Players are taken to fantasy world filled with dungeons to explore, treasures to find and monsters to defeat. At the same time, Dungeon Rusher offers a humorous approach to classic heroic fantasy tropes. We lead a party of adventurers, who must defeat a lord of darkness, dwelling in the deepest dungeon. Our team will consist of a shaman, an archeress, a warlike dwarf and a bard.

An action adventure game, in which you play as a wolf with supernatural abilities and explore the remains of an ancient civilization. Lost Ember takes place within the ruins of a metropolis left by a fictional tribe, modeled after the Inca people. The civilization has gone extinct long ago, and the monuments it had built had become part of the wild forest. The wolf, whose role the player assumes, has the power to control the bodies of other animals.

A futuristic racing game created by an independent studio 34BigThings. The action of the game takes place in 2560, when humanity depleted all natural resources on Earth. Then, they moved on to other planets, with Earth becoming a location for various spectacles, including the Solar Redout Racing League – our character's bread and butter. The competition focuses on spectacular races of ultra fast anti-gravity hovercrafts, varied in performance and looks, that handle a lot like quad-copters.

A space sandbox game by Payload Studios, set in the future, in which Earth's natural resources have been completely depleted. You play as a space adventurer, whose task is to look for resources on an alien planet. The main aspects of TerraTech are threefold. The first aspect is exploring varied environments and gathering minerals, which can be transported to Earth or processed. Another aspect is building sophisticated vehicles from the resources you find or parts from other machines.

A set of two enhanced parts of the LEGO Harry Potter series for the eighth generation consoles, originally released in 2010-2011 by Traveller's Tales and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. The set includes the games LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, based on the seven books in the series by the British writer J.K. Rowling.

A debut project developed by an independent studio Fat Panda Games – a 2D platformer in Metroidvania style. Flat Kingdom Paper’s Cut Edition takes us to the titular realm where people have always lived in happiness and wealth. The peace is over, though, as Hex - a three-dimensional thief - is back. He stole the six Magical Jewels that kept the flat world away from the third dimension and, to make matters worse, he kidnapped the heir to the throne.
