A third-person adventure game. In Tamagotchi Plaza our main objective is to serve the prince, taking care of stores and other places offering various services. We can participate in various mini-games, as well as complete quests for the residents of the charming town.
Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop was a game released in 2005, in which we could show off as caretakers of shops managed by the titular Tamagotchi. Over the years, this game has had two sequels, and in time - a successor in the form of the production described here. We're talking about Tamagotchi Plaza, an adventure game developed and released by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
In Tamagotchi Plaza we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).
During the game, we take on the role of one of the titular creatures called Tamagotchi and we end up in Tamahiko Town on Tamagotchi Planet. Given that the town was nominated to host the festival, its prince appointed us to take care of the shops located in it and to make efforts to win.
We explore Tamagotchi Town and get to know its inhabitants, and above all - we visit local shops and places providing other services, which we need to take care of. The available shops include a dentist treating the teeth of residents, an optometrist selecting glasses for anyone in need, a tailor dressing creatures, or even Afternoon Tea, where anyone interested can get tableware.
Visiting each of these places means the possibility of playing a mini-game related to its activity. The game allows us to try our hand at things like treating cavities or sewing clothes. As progress is made, the reputation of individual places increases, allowing them to develop and gain access to increasingly diverse orders.
This is not the end, as individual Tamagotchi living in the city may ask us for help in solving their troubling problems or in searching for specific items.
We can play Tamagotchi Plaza alone or in local multiplayer mode. The game allows cooperation or competition with another person. Additionally, the game can connect with a compatible Tamagotchi Uni toy model, which gives us access to exclusive items and special effects.

Game Ratings for Tamagotchi Plaza Video Game.
GameSpew: 4 / 10 by Kim Snaith
It may be cute and colourful, but that's practically all that Tamagotchi Plaza has going for it. Essentially a collection of minigames, the activities on offer here are mostly dull and repetitive, and as there are no tutorials they are fairly inaccessible to younger players. One or two of the games are somewhat entertaining, but certainly not enough make this a title worth recommending.
Cloud Dosage: 2.5 / 5 by Jon Scarr
Tamagotchi Plaza brings back classic characters in a bright, cheerful package, but it runs out of steam pretty fast. The minigames are fun at first, but they get old quick, and the grind doesn’t help.
GRYOnline.pl: 6 / 10 by Aleksandra Wolna
Is Tamagotchi Plaza a pleasant game? Sure. But can I be certain who is it for? Nope. It contradicts itself at every step, and isn’t suitable neither for kids nor adults. I’m a tamagotchi fan, and I was confused more often than not.
