The Adventures of Willy Beamish is the last classic adventure produced by Dynamix, but also the most interesting one. This time the authors gave up serious topics (Rise of the Dragon, Heart of China) in favour of loose and funny adventures of a typical American young man. The title character gives the impression of a bored teenager. It learns on average and causes enormous educational problems. The only thing that really fascinates him is video games, in which he passionately pounds in every free moment. Willy dreams of taking part in the national Nintari competitions, but parents stand in the way, who cannot understand the boy's passion. In addition, he added oil to the fire on the last day of school before the summer holidays, when our hero had to stay after lessons. You can see for yourselves that a friend has a difficult childhood.

The game, as befits a classic adventure, contains all the elements characteristic of the genre. Willy can collect objects and pack them into a backpack, talk to people and move around dozens of colorful locations. The "troubleshooter" is a peculiar novelty, which has a great influence on the game. Whenever Willy does something that his parents don't want him to do: he's late for lunch, he won't take out his dog or help his mother in the kitchen - this indicator will grow. In the worst case we will get a ticket to the school of cadets and the most interesting period of mother's life. Of course, by fulfilling the will of the guardians and not putting our nose into them, we will keep the indicator at a low level and we will successfully continue the gameplay. It would be a mistake, however, to think that the game is therefore boring. On the contrary. The scriptwriters made sure that the boy's adventure abounds in various "uninteresting" stories, besides, it is us who choose the course of action and, consequently, we decide for ourselves whether Willy will obey the will of his parents or will act against their instructions.

The audiovisual setting is excellent. Graphics in comic style makes a phenomenal impression. Colourful and meticulously made backgrounds are also worth mentioning. Music, as it happens in the Sierra family, also remains at a decent level. Although The Adventures of Willy Beamish may seem like a game for younger players, older and more experienced adventure enthusiasts can also face it with no remorse. It will certainly not be a lost time.
