Directive 8020 is the premiere episode of the second season of Supermassive Games studio's horror series. The story is set in a distant future. Members of the spaceship Cassiopeia end up on an alien planet, with a dangerous predator hunting them and taking their shapes.

Directive 8020 is the sixth main installment in the horror series The Dark Pictures Anthology, and the premiere episode of its second season. This action-adventure game with stealth elements was developed by Supermassive Games, a studio specializing in this genre, whose portfolio includes projects such as Until Dawn and The Quarry.

Plot

Directive 8020 offers us a grim vision of the future in which the Earth becomes unsuitable for life. Humanity thus begins a race against time, and the search for a new home leads it to Tau Ceti f, located 12 light years away from the blue planet. A colonization ship - Cassiopeia - is sent to the location, however, things do not go as planned for its crew. The ship crashes on the planet's surface, and those who survive the disaster quickly realize that they are being hunted by a mysterious, alien organism capable of changing shape and taking on the appearance of its victims.
