A third-person action RPG with a brutal, slasher-like combat system, set in the Dungeon & Fighter universe. The First Berserker: Khazan stars the titular character, taking vengeance on those who robbed him of glory and caused his downfall.
The First Berserker: Khazan is an action RPG with a slasher-like combat system. It was co-created by Neople and Nexon.
The First Berserker: Khazan is set in a fantasy world created for Dungeon & Fighter. The protagonist is the titular Khazan, a former general who saved the Pell Los Empire from falling. Rather than showered with glory, he was falsely accused of treason, tortured and exiled. Desiring revenge, Khazan decides to punish those responsible for his downfall.
The First Berserker: Khazan is a third-person game. The player must traverse various, grim locations, ranging from rocky wastelands, snowy mountain valleys and dark interiors, cutting down enemy hordes and powerful bosses.
Combat is fast-paced, requiring constant motion, quick dodging, deadly counter-attacks, chaining our moves into combos and executing enemies with brutal finishers. On the battlefield, we'll mainly make use of melee weapons and various combat abilities. As we progress, we acquire better equipment (weapons and armor) and develop our protagonist, becoming more formidable.
The First Berserker: Khazan features high-quality graphics. The game is bloody, brutal and makes use of a manga-like artstyle.

The First Berserker: Khazan is a brilliant blend of the Soulslike and Hack and Slash genres, offering some of the best combat in recent gaming years and an incredibly polished product. While it does have some shortcomings in its story, replayability, and occasionally borrows too heavily from past titles, if you live for action games such as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice or Devil May Cry 5, this game will likely be your Game of the Year so far and a title we can recommend at full price.
