The Karters is an arcade racing game developed by the Polish developer Cmoar Studio. The game was inspired by Crash Team Racing from the PS One console. In the game, we control one of the dozen or so cartoonish characters available and take part in crazy races that take place in many various locations, such as jungle, sunny beach, dust-filled canyon, or wacky town. Driving model used in The Karters is far from being realistic.

The Karters for PC is an arcade racing game inspired by the famous CTR: Crash Team Racing from the PS One console. It is the first big game created by the Polish studio Cmoar Studio. Before The Karters, they have only released mobile VR apps, like VR Cinema or Roller Coaster VR.

Mechanics

The Karters for PC from Cmoar Studio is a purely arcade racing game where we drive go-karts. The game’s design and mechanics are visibly inspired by classic game of the genre, like the previously mentioned CTR: Crash Team Racing or Nintendo’s Mario Kart. We control one of a dozen or so available cartoonish characters ane take part in crazy races that take place in many varied locations, like a jungle, sunny beach, dusty canyon, or a lunatic town. Driving model implemented in the game is far from being realistic and emphasizes only pure, arcade fun. Additionally, gameplay is enriched by many funny, cartoonish weapons and tons of power-ups located all around the racing tracks.
