The Spectrum Retreat is a logic puzzle game by Dan Smith Studios, a British one-man company. The developer cooperated with Ripstone, which helped with the production and published the game. Interestingly, the prototype version of the game won the BAFTA YGD award in 2016.

The plot of the game is full of secrets. You wake up in the Penrose Hotel, unable to remember anything from your past. What is more, the mannequin-like staff of the hotel constantly tires to keep you inside. You have to solve a variety of puzzles to learn what happened and to escape this place.

The Spectrum Retreat utilizes a first person's perspective. The gameplay focuses on changing the colors of certain elements located in the hotel rooms in the right way.
