The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a multiplayer action game. It's based on an iconic 1974 horror film of the same name. It was developed by Gun, a studio known for Friday the 13th: The Game, based on another iconic slasher series, Friday the 13th. Kim Henkel, the writer of the first movie in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre series helped with the project.

Mechanics

The game makes a significant change to the usual asymmetric multiplayer formula. While in other games we'll usually have a group of players facing off against a single villain, here, the survivors will need to face an entire family of cannibals at once. Cook, Hitchhiker and Leatherface - each of these characters have unique abilities giving them an advantage over their victims, but also some weaknesses they must make up for by cooperating with other murderers. The game also introduces some brand-new villains who never appeared in the films.
