The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an action game, developed for multiplayer. The game is based on the cult horror movie from 197418×16 svg. It was developed by Gun studio, which has already created Friday the 13th: The Game, a game based on the series of slashers. Kim Henkel18×16 svg, the author of the screenplay for the first The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, gave suggestions during the work on the game.

Game mechanics

This title makes a break with the concept of gameplay known from asymmetrical multiplayers. While in other productions clashes are carried out in 1 vs. many mode, here on the side of "the bad guys" stands the whole family of cannibals. Cook, Hitchhiker or Leatherface - each of these characters has unique abilities, giving them an advantage over their victims, but also weaknesses that can be overcome through cooperation with other members of the murderous family. The developers also take it a step further by introducing additional characters to the Slaughter family that don't appear in the film.

Technical aspects

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre features 3D graphics. The authors of the game took care to faithfully recreate the locations and characters 18×16 svgknown to fans of the film, but also the place and time in which the action of the cinema original took place. The soundtrack composed for the production is also based on the iconic score from the original title from 1974.
