TrainCrasher, released on AND and iOS, is a brawler game. The production is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by Softmax studio.

Plot

TrainCrasher doesn't have an extensive story. The action takes place in an unspecified, post-apocalyptic future where most of the planet has been turned into a desert, incapable of sustaining any life. Heavily armored trains move between the cities - the game takes place inside one of them. The gang of criminals has taken control over the train, and our task is to eliminate the enemies and defeat their leader - a mysterious swordsman whose face is covered in bandages.

Mechanics

We can choose from several characters with unique fighting styles and different difficulty levels. Among them, we have a swordsman Ron, Mei wielding a huge axe, Zett who fights using fists, or Hound who specializes in firearms. These four heroes are available from the very beginning, and others can be unlocked by making progress in the game or by purchasing microtransactions.

As befits a brawler, our task in TrainCrasher is to keep moving to the right side of the screen and eliminate hordes of enemies. From time to time, we also have to deal with powerful bosses. The combat system allows you to use standard attacks, activate special techniques, grab and throw enemies - all the moves can be chained into long combos.

The fun is enriched by RPG elements like progression system and crafting, which allows you to improve armor and weapons. All this not only improves statistics, but also allows you to gain access to new skills and attacks.
