Transformers Prime: The Game, released on Wii, WiiU, DS and 3DS, was developed by Now Production.

In 2010, the animated series Transformers: Prime appeared on TV screens. The work of Hasbro Studios' filmmakers was very well received by young viewers, which resulted in the next season. At the same time, Activision expressed its interest in releasing the game based on the cartoon. The development was entrusted to the Japanese development studio Now Production, which has titles such as Bakugan: Defenders of the Core and We Love Katamari (the exception is the version for Nintendo DS, which was developed by Altron).

Transformers Prime: The Game refers to the themes of the series. Players control their favorite Autobots (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet and Bulkhead) who, together with their human friends Jack, Miko and Raf, must defend the Earth from the evil Megatron and his Decepticons.

The game combines elements of a brawler and race sequences. Of course, the game has the option of transforming the Transformers in their various forms. In the course of the game, the characters also visit a number of locations that are well known to the fans of the series.
