Trip In Another World is a casual fantasy strategy game using a free-to-play model with micropayments. The game was developed by Japanese studio Fantasy World.

Plot

The action takes place in a fantasy land known as Kuroland. There is a war going on there between several kingdoms caused by an old monarch, who, wanting to ensure the arrival of the golden age of the continent, is looking for an heir promised to him by a prophecy. Candidates for this title become player characters who are transferred to this world from our reality.

Game mechanics

Trip In Another World is a classically realized network strategy game. We are primarily engaged in the management and expansion of the city. We collect resources, construct new buildings, develop technologies and take care of the satisfaction of the inhabitants and the creation of a healthy economy.

During the game we also train an army and use it to fight monsters and conquer enemy territories. In the adventure we are accompanied by hero characters, who advise us during the management of the city, help in battles and take part in expeditions to dungeons, from which they can bring valuable treasures.

The gameplay takes place in a world where other players play alongside us. This aspect, however, differs strongly from typical online strategies. In Trip In Another World there is no place for wars with other users. Instead, our goal is to establish trade relations with them and encourage cooperation to develop our civilizations. Players can also organize joint hero expeditions to ancient ruins, where the most valuable rewards are hidden. The competition with other people is just about who can better develop their kingdom.

Game modes

Trip In Another World is a game geared towards online gameplay, but at the same time each player has a private domain where they can have fun without having to interact with other users.

Technical aspects

The game features simple but attractive two-dimensional graphics made in a style modeled after Japanese cartoons.
