Two Worlds II: Echoes of the Dark Past 2 PC

Echoes of the Dark Past 2 is an expansion pack to the action RPG title Two Worlds II. Just like the previous DLC, it is created by the authors of the original game – Reality Pump from Poland. This expansion focuses on multiplayer.

Plot

The story of Echoes of the Dark Past 2 continues the events from Echoes of the Dark Past. The players find themselves in the middle of the conflict between the Veneficus University expedition and the Vanderbilt mercenaries. It is up to us which side we are going to support, and the choice affects not only the way the plot unfolds but also which quests we can embark on.

Mechanics

Two Worlds II: Echoes of the Dark Past 2 does not revolutionise the gameplay mechanics. Instead, the authors focused on designing the mentioned missions along with six brand new maps. The locations we visit include a desert (where we fight demons, hordes of undead, and crazy cannibals, or engage in team PvP), the Tenebrae Tunnels (through which we try to reach an ancient tomb), and the antique Sanctuary of Sama’El where - depending on our choices - we come across either a powerful ally or a deadly enemy.

Technical aspects

As Echoes of the Dark Past 2 is not a standalone DLC, it requires the original game. The expansion does not introduce any changes to the audio and visual layers.
