Unhinged

The Hunger Games, as well as productions like Green Hell, Subnautica, and The Long Dark, were the main sources of inspiration for the debut project of the independent British studio Unifiq Games. They created a survival game with an open world titled Unhinged, set on a retro-futuristic island that serves as the site of sinister experiments by a megacorporation.

Gameplay

In Unhinged the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Exploration, crafting, automation

As we explore the island, we primarily need to look for resources and ingredients that are used to craft tools, construct bases, prepare meals, synthesize medicines, and build various vehicles and machines. The latter, combined with pipes and conveyor belts, allow for the automation of selected processes, enabling us to focus on exploration and uncovering the secrets of the island.
