An online shooter reproducing reality of one of the most important battles of the First World War. Having chosen the side, we create a squad of four soldiers of various specialties and participate in fights in faithfully mapped areas surrounding Verdun.

Mechanics and Game modes

Verdun is an online action / FPS game for PC, PS4 and XONE transferring us to the times of World War One, specifically to the Battle of Verdun, fought between February and December of 1916. Lasting several months, the defense of the key French fortress thwarted the plans of the German command intending to lead to a rapid collapse of the enemy.

Verdun offers us four game modes in which you can choose the side of France or Germany, and take part in the famous battle alone or in cooperation with other players. The main type of match is fighting in 4-person teams composed of soldiers of different classes and specializations. Each of them is characterized by different skills and type of weapon used, this is why in order to achieve success, a close cooperation of the entire team is required. For victories and fulfilling the tasks given to us during missions, we get experience points which allow for the development of our character and obtaining newer and newer capabilities, both active and passive, and better types of weapons. We can also choose to play in the classical free-for-all model, but then we gain experience much more slower and our soldier is not developing so fast.
